Meet Philip. He is one of my friends from motorcycle club MotorKlub Den Haag. This picture is taken at his wedding, where I was his best man. Fortunately we usually don’t dress up like this but prefer biker gear.
Philip travelled a lot and inspired me in traveling by motorcycle. The pictures below are from an Horizons Unlimited weekend in Germany. Philip introduced me to Horizons Unlimited, an organisation for by by overland (motorcycle) travelers.
We didn’t stay long at this weekend, because the campsite was full of cow’s shit. Philip found out the hard way when setting up his tent in twilight.
Apart from a roadside cafe and some tents there were no facilities.
Since we like good food and occasional shower (especially if you are covered in cowshit) we hit the road the next day en enjoyed riding in Germany.
